Return extra metadata associated with .shp file

.get.shp.metadata(path)

Arguments

path	The path to the shapefile.

A list of properties of that data, taken from the file.

A "shapefile" is actually a collection of files. At minimum .shp, .shpx, and .dbf

In addition, there are at least 13 optional files that may be included.
